GolfNorth is pleased to announce that effective February 1, 2014, it has entered into a long term lease for Northern Dunes Golf Club located in Hepworth, Ontario. Situated at the southern entrance to the Bruce Peninsula, Northern Dunes is a scenic 10 minute drive from both Sauble Beach on Lake Huron and the City of Owen Sound located on the southern shores of Georgian Bay.
Northern Dunes, officially opened in 2000, is a Steve Young design, championship 18-hole course that reaches 6,400 from the back tees. The golf course twists and winds through some of the finest land in the Bruce Peninsula, with mature trees, many bunkers and challenging water hazards strategically located throughout the holes. Whether golfers choose to walk or ride during their round, the unmatched beauty of the Peninsula, highlighted with gently rolling undulations, provides a simply picturesque landscape on which to experience a great round of golf.
GolfNorth would like to welcome Lou Salvino, President of Northern Dunes Golf Club Ltd., to its team and look forward to working with Lou in the coming years.
